Lafourche Parish Office of Community Action is looking for a reliable, energetic individual between the age of 16-21 to join us for the Beyond the Bell summer program! This is a great opportunity to gain work experience, earn money and develop useful skills in a friendly work environment.
Duties may include:
• Light outdoor or indoor work
• Assisting with small projects or events
• Helping with basic office tasks
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Resident of Lafourche;
• Ages 16 through 21;
• If over 18, must qualify under CSBG income guidelines;
• If under 18, family income must qualify under income guidelines as posted for CSBG programs;
• Able to pass drug screen;
• Ability to work 20-hour work week;
• Anyone 16 years of age must have a work permit;
This program will begin on Monday, June 9th and end on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 (employment end date subject to change based on program needs). Salary is $12.00 per hour.
