The Department of Public Works provides numerous services to the community, primarily through the construction and maintenance of infrastructure throughout Lafourche Parish. The Department is responsible for Streets, Drainage, Garbage Collection, Street lighting, and Nuisance Abatement. We strive to provide quality public service to residents which focuses on safety, economic growth, quality neighborhoods, and improved infrastructure.
