Job Title: Part-time Recreation Activities Assistant Worker

Reports To: Recreation District Supervisor

FLSA Status:   Non-Exempt

Salary:

Job Summary: Responsible for work associated with special events, rentals, clean ups, splash park activities, and any other assigned duties.

Essential Responsibilities:

Supervise special events and rental held at the gym.

Maintain gym area after all events. Supervise and clean the splash park area.

Perform custodial duties as required.

Report facility and ground concerns or issues to the District Supervisor.

Helps direct, train, and supervise seasonal, part time staff.

Provides logistic support to recreation programs and special events as assigned.

Communicates official plans, policies, and procedures. Assures that all activities are planned and implemented in a safe environment. Performs other job duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: May supervise a limited number of seasonal workers when assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

Must hold a valid driver's license.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Ability to work in outside environment conditions when required.
