We have received a large amount of calls about individuals placing debris inside ditches and on top of catch basins throughout the parish. This can create a much bigger problem for Lafourche with ongoing rain conditions. Lafourche is still projected to recieve a few days of rain throughout the parish and blocking these drain ways can cause serious damage to a already damaged area. We ask residents to remove all debris they have cleaned up out of ditches and catch basins if you have placed it there to not cause additiona problems for residents.
