The Communications Department of Lafourche Parish Government is dedicated to keeping our community informed and engaged. Timely Processing of Public Record Requests

We are committed to processing Public Record Requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring that public documents are accessible to all. By providing timely access to public records, we uphold the principles of open government and build trust within our community.

Public Records and Media Requests

Lafourche Parish Government will produce public records in accordance with Louisiana Public Records Law R.S. 44:1 – 44:41.

Fee: A fee of $0.50 per page may be charged

Identification: For in-person requests, proof of identification will be requested and examined.
