40 Arpent Road Closure in Thibodaux Due to inclement weather, work on 40 Arpent Road in Thibodaux was unable to be performed last week. The road will now be closed beginning Friday morning July 29 thru Sunday, July 31 in order for the contractor to perform the work of installing culverts. The road will be completely closed to vehicular traffic while this work is being done. Alternate routes include Summerfield Drive, Springfield Drive and Lake Accardo Drive.
Lafourche Parish will likely receive more rainfall today. Please clear catch basins and check ditches to see that they are clear for water to flow. Please do not drive around barricades or drive thru streets with water. Be safe.
