JOB TITLE: Part-time Bridge Tender

SALARY RANGE: $12.14 - $24.01 per hour

LOCATION: Galliano Field Office
Nature of Job: Performs the opening and closing of movable span bridges in facilitation of marine vessel traffic, including performing complex maintenance of operation quarters and mechanical and electrical equipment of the bridge.
Minimum Qualification: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Substitution 1: Three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training
Substitution 2: Equivalent combination of education and training in the basic operation and maintenance of bridge tendering and associated facilitation of marine vessel traffic
A valid driver’s license issued by a state other than Louisiana is acceptable for application; however, once an employment offer is extended for a position, an applicant will have thirty (30) days to obtain the required Louisiana license. Failure to obtain a Louisiana driver’s license may disqualify an applicant from permanent employment in any position. Maintains acceptable driving record in addition to a valid Louisiana license.
