Note From The President:

Lafourche Parish continues to move forward to provide our citizens with a wonderful place to live and work. In the past year, we’ve progressed tremendously. Drainage has improved extensively throughout the parish. Our comprehensive road project has been going strong. We were tried by the 2005 hurricane season, and Lafourche became a safe haven for our neighbors ravaged by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Our business community continues to grow with national impact. Our slogan, “Feeding and Fueling America,” represents our significance to the nation as Lafourche is a leader in energy, seafood and agriculture production.
