The Cote Blanche Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from approximately 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for maintenance.

The Office of Community Action has released the 2019 Guidelines for Assistance. Clients that may need assistance with housing (energy bill, rent, mortgage etc.), medication and/or school (tuition, uniforms) should review the guidelines for details prior to submitting an application for review.

The Galliano Pontoon Bridge will be closed today, December 12th, 2018 through approximately 2:00 p.m. for necessary cable repairs. The bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic only.

Lafourche Parish Public Works announces that the Cote Blanche Bridge will be closed to both vehicular and marine traffic for cable repairs on Tuesday, 11/27/2018, from 8:30 am through approximately 10:30 am.

There will be no regular household garbage collection on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22nd, 2018. Garbage collection will resume its normal schedule on Friday, November 23rd. Areas affected by the Thanksgiving holiday will have their next scheduled pick up on Monday, November 26th.
