Lafourche Parish Government received Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in the amount of $750,000 to complete a Master Drainage Plan for the parish.  A "Request for Statements of Qualifications" (RFQ) was published to solicit responses from interested firms, and after detailed interviews and response reviews, Lafourche Parish Government chose the team assembled and led by T. Baker Smith, LLC (TBS).  The main objective of the study was to research available information and receive public input to develop computer models that represent the "backbone" of forced and gravity drainage systems to help the Parish plan future drainage improvements.
