The Lafourche Parish Department of Community Services is committed to aiding the people of Lafourche in the development of an active and progressive community. As the Director of Community Services, I direct and coordinate with the Head Start Program and the Office of Community Action by providing administrative direction to division directors and managers. I meet closely with appointed board and review policies and procedures as it pertains to proper administration of funds for agencies.

The Department of Community Services is concerned with all community issues such as preparedness in times of threatening danger, sheltering, poverty, sickness and the education of the people of Lafourche Parish.
