Sandbags Available at ALL Field Offices

Lafourche Parish residents can now pick up sandbags at all Field Office locations throughout the
parish. Sandbags are available until 5:00 P.M. today (Thursday) and will be available on Friday
between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Lafourche Parish Government will later make a
determination about the availability of sandbags this weekend.
There is a limit of 25 “filled” sandbags per household. If additional sandbags are necessary, sand and
bags will be provided on site so that residents can fill their own additional bags. A limited number of
shovels will be available for residents to fill their own bags, but residents are encouraged to bring their
own shovel to fill their bags.
